Martin Svoboda is a graphic design and illustration studio based in Prague. I’ve been working with big or small organizations and individuals for the past twenty years. Luckily my work has got mentioned in a couple of professional publications like Novum, Shift, Dezeen or Typo 9010, showcasing the best of Czech typography from 1990 to 2010.
I like to be part of the project from the early stage so that I can turn your ideas from paper sketches to life. Beauty but also meaning is the central importance of every creation.
The output of my work has certainly been influenced by the fall of the Iron curtain and the dynamics of a newly liberated country. Perhaps the austerity of suburban tower blocks and the contrast of two different political worlds influence my artworks with stoic geometry and a touch of chaos.
Besides the commissioned work, I fancy to experiment in art under the curious moniker FunkFu.
